Mt. Baker, 2003
Annual father/son mountain climbing trip: Fred Hardinge was again kind enough to give a couple of inexperienced people some help. Jeff and his father were accompanied by Fred, Heather, and Merlin - Fred's brother-in-law. We had a wonderful weekend. Thursday we hiked up to base camp where we spent the night. The next day we summited Mt. Baker. The top was cloudy and cold. We decided to hike back to our cars the same day in order to have a warm supper of potatoes and pea soup.
